UOG Alumni Reunion - Save the date - Tuesday, Nov. 15

Hafa Adai, Fellow Triton!

I hope all is well! Please save the date – Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011. We will be hosting our first-ever UOG Alumni Reunion at the Hyatt Regency Guam from 6p.m. to 10p.m.

The theme of the event is “Novemberfest” and we will be featuring the following fun and exciting activities:

Speed Networking:

Sometimes approaching another person and introducing yourself can be an intimidating task. By participating in our Speed Networking activity, we will help to eliminate the awkwardness of that situation and cut through the chase! Perhaps you’re a new University graduate in search of a job, a prospective employer looking for the right candidate, or simply someone interested in making contacts or friends with people in various industries? It makes no difference – Speed Networking at the alumni reunion will enable you to make all those essential connections!

Epic Fashion Show:

Take a nostalgic journey to the 50’s when the University of Guam originated as the Territorial College. Then, travel through subsequent decades and look at snapshots of the campus and the movers and shakers who shaped the University into the prestigious institution it is today. And while you take this trip down memory lane, we’ll show you the various fashions that were worn during each decade - modeled by our very own alumni and members of the University community! You can participate as a model or simply come to the reunion to watch this unforgettable show.

Triton Privileges:

We will launch “Triton Privileges,” a multi-tiered initiative of the alumni office. One component of this program will enable our alumni to receive various discounts and offers at participating businesses. When you sign up to be a member of the UOG Alumni Association, you will be issued a membership card so you can get instant savings on fuel, restaurant meals, and various retail items from participating businesses. Come to the reunion to purchase your card and learn more about this exciting program.

Plus: Pupus, live music, chance to win great prizes and more!

Tickets will be $30 and will be sold next week. They will be sold for $35 at the door. Look out for more information.

Attire is dressy casual.

Please feel free to contact me via email or phone at 735-2586 if you have any questions in the interim.

Best regards,

Norman Analista

LET US REMEMBER: 9/11

We pay tribute to those who suffered from the 9/11 attacks on America. We will always remember those who lost their lives, those who sacrificed to help in any way they could, and the day that brought everyone from all walks of life, rich or poor, together as ONE! God Bless the families and friends of those we have lost, and the brave men and women who continue to fight for our freedom!
