L.P. Untalan Middle School to Reopen on Tiyan Campus

L. P. Untalan Middle School will remain closed until further notice.  In an effort to expedite the resumption of classes for the island’s oldest school, the Department of Education has been working collaboratively with the Office of the Governor as well as Core Tech International to get students back into the classroom. The targeted opening date is January 24th but is dependent on approval of the necessary permits.

Volunteers and donations are integral to making the move in this short period of time. Individuals or businesses wanting to assist are asked to contact Andy Leon Guerrero at 888-4127 or aleonguerrero@gdoe.net.

The Guam Education Board, along with DOE management are working to put timelines in place inclusive of an adjusted school calendar for Untalan Middle School. As we prepare to move Untalan into the Tiyan campus information will be released as it becomes available.
