Guam FestPac 2016 Literary Arts Workshop on September 6
The Guam Literary Arts Committee for the GUAM Festival of Pacific Arts 2016 is calling all interested artists to participate in our workshops on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the University of Guam CLASS Lecture Hall.
The schedule is as follows:
Opening Remarks - 10:00 to 10:15
Indigenous Language - 10:15 to 10:45
Oratory (Storytelling) - 10:45 to 11:15
*Fashion - 11:30 to 12:30
*History - 11:30 to 12:30
*Publications - 11:30 to 12:30
*These are concurrent presentations, and participants may elect to participate in only one of the three workshops.
Break - 12:30 to 1:00
Theater - 1:00 to 1:50
Closing - 1:50 to 2:00

Happy 70th Liberation Day, Guam!
Tomorrow marks Guam's 70th Liberation Day! The island's annual liberation parade on July 21 is traditionally packed with crowds to celebrate Guam's freedom from Japan's cruel occupation. As part of our patriotism, we continue to celebrate and thank our Dear Uncle Sam - the United States and to those who serve in the Armed Forces who continue to fight for our freedom!

2)Important Alumni Survey
The University of Guam is collecting data and feedback from our alumni regarding the campus services that were available to them, as well as their success in finding employment in their field. If you haven’t already, please take a few minutes to respond to the following survey which will help us to better understand the needs of our growing alumni network.
The survey consists of 40 questions and it will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. You will also be asked to answer questions pertaining to: your gender, your educational status, and your occupational status. The information obtained will be kept in confidence. Names will only be able to be traced by the researcher. The information may be used for statistical or scientific purposes without identifying you as an individual.
