New high school could be coming to Harmon
While delays continue on the construction of the new John F. Kennedy High School, legislation has been introduced to move another delayed project to build a new northern high school forward. It's another public school project that's been sitting on the back burner for the past few years.

Mother of slain solider speaks
Since the start of the year, more than 156 soldiers have been killed while deployed in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Flags are being flown at half staff in honor of a son of Guam, 23-year-old Josh Akoni Lukeala, who made the ultimate sacrifice and whose legacy will be remembered in the hearts of the many family and friends who knew him.

Top spoken word poets to compete in LA
This evening, some talented teens are stepping up to the mic to showcase their skills. The good folks from Sinanganta need our help in sending a contingent of Guam youth to the Brave New Voice International Youth Poetry Slam in Los Angeles.
