+ Stimulus funds support Southern repairs
It may be a new school year, but at Southern High students are going through the same problems. With the help of American Reinvestment and Recovery Act funding, the school is hoping for some fixes so they can finally use the much-needed facilities.

+ Building demolition forces power outage
The Guam Power Authority scheduled an emergency power outage today in Hagatna. A stop work order was issued today after contractors attempted to demolish the old Island Tinting building in East Hagatna.

+ Feedback on Int̢۪l Building Code considered
Lawmakers are expected to hear testimony on concerns from stakeholders in the community regarding the adoption of the International Building Code 2009 and associated references.
